Part-66 Category B1.1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence Full Course
Description
A category B1 aircraft maintenance licence demonstrates the ability of the holder to issue certificates of release to service and to act as B1 support staff after performing maintenance on aircraft structure, powerplant and mechanical and electrical systems and working on avionic systems that require only simple tests to prove their serviceability and not troubleshooting.
Category B1 includes the corresponding A subcategory.
Course Content
This course consists of two parts:
- Theoretical training in classroom environment and Part-66 module exam at the end of each module
- Practical training in workshop/hangar environment and Part-66 practical task assessment at the end

All categories (B1.1, B2) require 52% theoretical training and 48% training in the laboratory. Part of the workshops is carried out in real condition at Makedonia Airport.
All categories require 2400 hours in total training (Theoretical plus practical) except B1.2 which needs only 2000 hours
6 hours per day 5 days per week
90% attendance mandatory
An acceptable level (Lower degree is more than enough but even without it is totally fine) of English language competency is mandatory to a degree of writing, reading and communicating with others.
